At the center of the project stands the Armadillo chair, a symbol of Altek’s approach to luxury interior design: advanced ergonomics, bespoke craftsmanship, and full customization From the very beginning, the client expressed a desire for a distinctive product—something that would seamlessly integrate into a contemporary and refined professional environment. The workspace needed to be defined by warm, natural tones, evoking a sense of calm and harmony with the surrounding landscape. At the same time, Mallorca’s insular climate required lightweight, breathable materials—excluding heavier or thermally insulating fabrics unsuitable for higher temperatures. Altek responded with the same attention to detail and care that define all its contract projects. Following the delivery of a curated selection of fabric samples, a collaborative consultation process began. This led to the choice of a technical upholstery solution that harmonized climate-appropriate performance, elegant aesthetics, and high durability—all while aligning with the client’s desired color palette. The partnership began with the delivery of eight customized Armadillo chairs, produced in accordance with the client’s specifications for materials and tones. The excellent reception of the first delivery quickly led to an additional order of two more units.
