Held Nov. 9-12 during Dubai Design Week, Downtown Design 2022 this year featured more than 200 brands, manufacturers, and designers from over 30 countries, showcasing some of the most outstanding contemporary designs, complemented by interactive lectures led by leading designers and specialists from around the world focusing on the business of design. The Italy Pavilion: “OFFICIAL ITALIAN PAVILION” hosted 39 Italian companies who exhibited their creations, as reported by the ITA (Italian Trade Agency): “Italy is the 4th largest producer of furniture in the world. Italian furniture is among the most desired – even in the UAE, where Italy is the 2nd supplier with almost 200 million euros of exported products.”

Italian design is an expression of beauty, innovation and sustainability; “Made in Italy” has also become synonymous with sustainable design thanks to the best “green practices” implemented by Italian companies in order to preserve our planet.

We have received a lot of interest in the products we exhibited. The Armadillo collection was most loved products. We are pleased to have participated again this year in the Middle East’s most important trade show. Check out last year’s edition here.
